I bow to the Moon God,
Who shines as white as curd and conch,
Who was born from the churning of the ocean of milk,
Who bears the image of a rabbit,
And who adorns the crown of Lord Shiva.

3) Kuja (Mars)

Dharanee garbha sambhutam ,Vidyut Kaanti Sama-prabham
Kumaram Shakti Hastam ,Tham Mangalaam Pranamamyamaham

Meaning:
I bow to Mars,
Who is born from the womb of Mother Earth,
Whose radiance resembles lightning,
Who is youthful and energetic,
And who wields a divine spear.

4) Budha (Mercury)

Priyangukalika Shyaamam , Roopenaa Pratimam Budham
Soumyam Soumya Guno Petham Tam Budham Pranamamyamham

Meaning:
I bow to Mercury,
Who is dark like the millet bud,
Who possesses incomparable beauty,
Who is gentle in nature,
And who radiates positivity and intelligence.

5) Guru (Jupiter)

Deva-naam cha Rishinam cha Gurum kaanchana sannibham
Buddhi Bhootam Trilokesham Tam Namaami Brihaspatim

Meaning:
I bow to Jupiter,
Who is the teacher of both Devas and sages,
Whose radiance resembles pure gold,
Who is the embodiment of wisdom,
And who is the lord of the three worlds.

6) Shukra (Venus)

HimaKunda Mrina-laabham Daitya-naam Paramam Gurum

Who shines like the snow-white jasmine,
Who is the supreme teacher of the demons,

7) Shani (Saturn)

Who has the hue of black collyrium,
Who is the son of the Sun God,

Who has a half-body form,
Who possesses immense power,
Who eclipses the Sun and Moon,
And who is born of Simhika, a demoness.

Palaasha Pushpa Sankaasham Tarakaa Graha Mastakam
Roudram Roudraa-makam Ghoram Tam Ketum Pranamaamya-ham

I bow to Ketu,
Who resembles the Palash flower in appearance,
Who has a star on his head,
Who is fierce and terrifying,
And who embodies the essence of destruction.
